I have over 12 years in the field of education as a tutor and teacher. Through my work as a testing rater, I grade standardized tests. This is a fast-paced job and requires a keen eye for detail. I am a current student at University of Washington certificate of Editing program. As a college center writing tutor I have over a year of experience helping students with developmental and copyediting, giving effective and clear feedback, as well as teaching writing as a teacher. As a writer myself, I enjoy the writing process, but understand how frustrating it is to have your work critiqued and taken apart. My debut novel is "The Only One That Knows," which I hope to have edited and published within the next three years.
