I am a registered Learning Disability Nurse, a health and social care trainer and first aid instructor. I have worked in a broad range of hospital, community and commissioning services throughout my career. From 2001 - 2013, I worked as a commissioning manager within the NHS. During this time, I commissioned Learning disabilities, Mental Health, Autism, Dementia and psychological services. During my commissioning career, I gained a number of skills in commissioning, contract management, project and change management. As well as process mapping and service development within the public sector. I have a BSc (hons) in clinical strategic management and have a great deal of project management experience. In 2013 after being made redundant following the abolition of PCTs; I set up my own Business, Spiritual Inspiration Ltd, using my program management skills to develop the business into a successful, high quality care at home agency.Since the business is running smoothly, I am able to also offer consultancy and contract work, based on my experience within the public sector. I have experience in CHC and accept regular contracts carrying out LD CHC assessments and LD commissioning roles. To this end I am currently accepting short term / part time interim contracts in the health / social care fields relating to commissioning, mental health, learning disability, dementia, CHC and project management. As well as making training available in first aid and mandatory health and social care courses.
