I am theOffice Manager at Legacy Recycling, an innovative e-waste recycling operation, servicing all of Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern, Illinois.The launch of thiscompany comes at a critical time for the planet. Current statistics indicate that Americans now dump 300 to 400 million electronic devices per year, and less than 20% are recycled. Computers, monitors and cellphones don't just disappear, and when they're improperly recycled -- often under unregulated conditions in Third World countries -- dangerous toxins are released into the air and water.My goal here at Legacy is to address this critical problem by providing an affordable, convenient e-waste recycling solution for corporations and residential customers.
