I work as an RT performing radiographic exams per FLH guidelines and following the ALARA principal. Perform flouroscopic exams such as swallow studies, UGI, cystos, etc. Communicate with hospital staff to ensure expert patient care for both in house patients and outpatients. Primarily work in fast paced environment between ED, CDU, ICU, PACU, triage, lean track, and the main department. Utilize NX, PACS, amongst other programs for patient imaging. Utilize patient immobilization and transfer tools to gain high quality images. Great team player in promoting the mission statement to extend the healing ministry of Christ. Patients come first, we must all do what we can to care for somebody's special someone.

Work primarily in pain management and orthopedic surgery centersPerform exams utilizing both c-arm and stationary equipmentPrepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjusting immobilization devices; moving equipment into specified position; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors. •Provide security by implementing security-screening procedures that are central to TSA objective to protect the traveling public by preventing any deadly or dangerous objects from being transported onto an aircraft .•Ensure safety in air travel by implementing standard operating procedures as it relates to passengers screening by use of X-Ray equipment, Walk Through Metal Detector (WTMD), FIDO, Cast Scan Equipment, Network Explosive Detection Systems, and Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) equipment. •Serve as an acting Lead for extended period of time conducting daily pre-operational duties, daily briefings, employee time and attendance, conduct new Standard Operation Procedures briefings

This includes ensuring proper functionality of equipment and reporting any malfunctions as needed•Operate and manipulate stationary and portable x-ray equipment as well as C-arms in and out of the operating room •Produce ionizing radiation within a safe permissible range as to achieve quality radiographs•Make effective and timely decisions in both crisis and routine situations
