I am at the Translational Research Center at NYU College of Dentistry, alongside a research team of junior faculty, post-doctoral fellows and students. The laboratory is focused on understanding the mechanisms of chronic pain and in developing new treatments for chronic pain.

Worked with patients, doctors, medical assistants and other staff members to provide the best patient care. Transitioned from EPIC FLOAT POOL as a medical practice associate to DEPARTMENT OF OBGYN as a medical secretary.

I had an amazing opportunity to shadow a local doctor, pharmacist, nurse, gynecologist, and dentist. This helped broaden my picture of the health field and gave me experience in multiple fields that I never thought I'd be interested in. Everyday my team and I set up a mobile clinics in areas where medical services are hard to reach. In total, from all stations, 2164 patients were seen and treated.

Worked with Dr. Pavel Masek with aversive taste conditioning and learning on Drosophila melanogaster (neurogenetics field)

Supervise pets and take care of them in their owners' absence. Grooming, providing food and water, taking dogs out for walk, taking dogs to vet appointments, administering medication, providing companionship.
