About Tracy Cramer
Proud to say I have 25+years of clinical bedside experience across various inpatient units in the acute care setting. I have held roles as a charge nurse, preceptor, shared leadership chair as well as other unit specific committees. In 2019 I transitioned away from the bedside to explore medical simulation in a children's hospital as an improvement specialist leader. I enjoy leading interdisciplinary teams through simulation design and debriefing. In this work safety is always our priority. Simulation can help identify gaps, lessons learned and in turn those action items can be utilized to drive improvement work. Other professional areas of interest include, staff wellness, addressing compassion fatigue, teaching and mentoring. In general I look forward to connecting with each individual as a human and learning everyday!

I also held roles as charge nurse, shared leadership chair and served on other committees. 2005-2011 I was a front line provider in our level 1 trauma emergency department. 2011-2016 I was blessed to serve the smallest patients of our community when we opened Helen Devos Children's hospital where I held a frontline caregiver position. I became certified in pediatric emergency nursing, helped build our trauma nurse orientation program, served as shared leadership chair and found my love for pediatric emergency nursing. 2016-2017 I was part of the cath lab.2017-2019 pediatric sedation services bedside provider, charge nurse, procedure scheduler.
