I spent 25 years working the City, in various business sectors, ending my City career as a portfolio manager at an American investment bank. After a break to have a family, I created a charity to provide assistance to families living with autism. The third sector was a completely new experience for me and provided me with an introduction to local government and local business. Shortly after, I formed a domiciliary care company to provide home care in my local area, Braintree. After a successful five years, I closed my home care business to move to Suffolk where I have worked as a Talent Acquisition Specialist for seven years. Years of meeting new people has enabled me to chat effortlessly with acquaintances and strangers alike. Now my children are grown, I am looking to retrain and refocus my efforts on something completely new. Tenacity, accuracy, and a focus on detail are my strengths, so I'll be looking for something to speak to those.
