Prior to moving to Nantucket in 2002, I spent eight years in Washington, D.C. working in the political arena, first in the Senate on Capitol Hill and then on public affairs, lobbying, and fundraising in the private sector. I started my career in Nantucket Real Estate in the spring of 2002 using the people skills that I've honed while working in D.C. to provide exceptional service to my vacation rentals and sales clients.Aside from working with clients and customers, I am a (very) part-time personal trainer! I like to stay active and am up for just about anything, whether it’s working out in the gym, running in the moors, paddling, or just walking and exploring all over the island. I hold a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and often helps with kids classes.I like to consider myself "adventure ready". In recent years, I've focused my attention on training for and participating in long-distance trail running, hiking and stand-up paddle board racing. I also like to travel, especially in the winter when time allows for a warm-weather getaway or two — including volunteer vacations in Florida, Cuba, Vietnam, and Peru.
