Tracy Dorencz is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and offers therapy in English and Spanish. She is also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Tracy earned her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University Chicago.Tracy is an LGBTQ identified, trauma informed therapist who practices under a holistic and social justice lens. She is committed to helping people find freedom from family conditioning, old patterns and stories we feel trapped in. As a queer therapist, she understands the pressures to hide or deny parts of ourselves to fit in. She believes healing is possible when we accept the very things we are trying to hide and release the pressure to change them. She uses an integrative approach and incorporates anti-racist, feminist and LGBTQIA allied ideologies. Tracy has experience working with teenagers and adults treating trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, PTSD, bipolar disorder as well as an array of complex relational issues.
