I specialize in African safari and travel products - in particular, Southern and East Africa travel for both FITs and incentives / groups. I have a proven track record of increasing sales, optimizing revenue and profit, negotiating contracts, developing partner relationships, and delivering excellent customer service, particularly in the high-end, luxury travel market.Having worked as a Product Manager and in Operations for over 18 years, I have excellent knowledge on all things related to African safaris - developing and nurturing supplier contacts, contract negotiations, cost calculations, working to margins, logistics required when planning both FIT and Groups / Incentives travel, product training, designing FAM trips and and a deep understanding of what works and doesn't work. My product knowledge across African safari and beach destination properties is extensive. I am also passionate about writing and education, and I have created e-learning courses for children and young adults that inspire them to feel special and believe in themselves. I have a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Communications, a TEFL certification, and multiple publications, including a book on owl conservation. I am a wildlife and travel enthusiast, and I support various anti-poaching charities.
