The former AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals was being relaunched as Nouryon in Oct 2018, followed the acquisition of the business by The Carlyle Group and GIC.

Ningbo Multisite is one of the biggest sites for AkzoNobel in the world, which investment started in 2008 to build up 6 plants with serving 3 different business units, the total investment is over Euro 600 mln with 500 employees till now. In this position I have the overall responsibility for all financial activities in Ningbo, such as functional and organizational integration, process and procedure standardization and optimization, business partnership and value driven, people management and development etc., meanwhile, I used to act as the project manager for legal entity merger (4 into 1) project during 2016-2018, and monitored the big investments from financial point of view; I am also the focal point with the local authorities for communication on investment, taxation and financial matters etc.

Akzo Nobel Specialty Chemicals Tianjin site, includes 2 legal entities - Tianjin Akzo Nobel Peroxides Co., Ltd & Keum Jung Akzo Nobel Peroxides Limited, both are the Joint Venture companies in Tianjin, China, which majority shareholder is Akzo Nobel of Netherlands. The site produces and sells broad range of high polymer chemical products with annual turnover of EUR 120M equivalent. I was overall in charge the site financial activities, worked closely with site management team, business team and regional functions, to support them to achieve site objectives.

Boeing Tianjin Composites Co., Ltd, a joint venture company located in Tianjin, owned by the Boeing International Holdings and China Aviation Industry Corporate, producing high quality composite parts for commercial aircraft. I was mainly responsible for inventory and costing control, fixed assets management and accounts payable supervision etc.

Tianjin PepsiCo Foods Co., Ltd, a wholly foreign owned enterprise invested by the PepsiCo Food International group in TEDA, Tianjin, producing and selling the snack foods with brand Cheetos, Lays etc. I was taking various financial roles with solid experience during the years: Cashier, A/R and Tax accountant, G/L accountant and Financial Analyst, the final position was Financial Supervisor with overall in charging of the financial function independently during Sep 2000- Nov 2004. In Jan 2004, the Board decided to close down the company due to strategic plan in China, I was responsible for all the liquidation issues from Jan to Nov 2004.
