* Develop and maintain an account base, as designated by the Director of Sales & Marketing, to achieve hotel revenue goals. * Be responsible for and implement a sales action plan for the development of the designated market segments associated with this position. This includes telephone and direct mail solicitation, personal sales call program, related sales trips, trade show participation, entertainment and consortia marketing promotions. * Identify peaks and valleys of business and create promotional opportunities with key third party vendors in order to maximize occupancy and rates * Initiate and respond promptly to all RFPs and inquiries, as well as correspondence from clients, prospects and lead referrals. * Respond promptly to requests by Director of Sales & Marketing for reports and other assignments. * Develop working relationship with hotel department heads and operational areas, especially Revenue Management. * Provide weekly and monthly reports of sales calls and marketing actions as requested by Hotel management. * Efficiently manage time and processing of paperwork, files and reports. * Achieve annual goals as designated by the Director of Sales & Marketing.
