I assisted the Engineering and Technology Department with a variety of organizational needs including grant writing and management, department purchases and budgeting, student project coordination, classroom renovations, and equipment maintenance. I helped organize the Middle School Engineering Challenge to promote STEM careers in the community. I led staff lunch-and-learns on mindfulness, as well as a student Mindfulness and Yoga Club.

I created and thrice organized this new fundraiser for Wredling Middle School PTO. Over 75 local and regional organizations attended the event, which is a free resource for the community. The planning included creating a new website for the PTO, setting up online registration/donations, collecting over 400 exhibitor leads, marketing the event to potential exhibitors and community, and coordinating day-of-event set-up and volunteers.

I planned, promoted, and co-directed a summer camp for 2 years which employed 20 staff. It had morning, day, and overnight options for youth aged 6-14 years. Over 100 campers attended each year. They chose 3 different sports from 20 choices and I taught them meditation, yoga, and other peak performance and stress management tools in between the sport sessions. The experience I gained running this small business was invaluable.
