Based in Sierra Leone, my time was spent redesigning their network infrastructure (wireless and fibre).  I inherited a weak network infrastructure and to avoid costly migration costs, I negotiated with service providers reducing monthly costs by 30%.  I reduced the reliance of our South African based support company eliminating the 48 hour turnaround time for various administration activities by training staff and gaining full administration access to all systems. Personally designed an intranet web based communication platform eliminating communication issues between divisions on the mine. Designed knowledge base system for technical support team leading to reduced turnaround time on issues that needed to researched for resolution. Reviewed and implemented various policies and procedures to South African standard.
