Sometimes I also talk about smart buildings and how to make it all work.--I am an environmental engineer with a passion in the sustainable design and operations of buildings.I believe technology is the key to operating our buildings efficiently. When a facility operates seamlessly, it's not only cheaper and greener, but it means that our clients can focus on their core business; what they do best.I make buildings work.I do this by helping partners design, construct and operate smart buildings and tenancies. This also extends to the operations and life-cycle replacements of integrated communications networks and combined building server environments.My niche is the ability to connect a vision to a pathway. And to advocate for ways that technology can enrich the lives and careers of our property managers and building engineers.I currently work with JLL's Asia Pacific executive teams to road-map and deliver the technology journey for our Property and Asset Management teams. I also provide smart and integrated building consulting services for individual properties and clients.On a personal level, I am passionate about nurturing the next generation of STEM minds to think outside of the box to better our world. I am very proud to be actively involved with the Stephen Ho Innovation Award at The University of Melbourne, which provides financial support and mentoring to students of the BioDesign Innovation course. In addition, I am also a mentor in The University of Melbourne's STEM Industry Mentoring Program and am the board secretary for the not-for-profit organisation, The GentleWomen's Union.
