As the Program & Content Manager at Digital Wellness, I help drive the evolution of our weight management platforms, including the Mayo Clinic Diet and CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet. I lead a small team of dietitians and nutritionists responsible for the creation and enhancement of program content, emails, meal plans, nutrition data, and innovative features that empower members to improve their health. I have gained tremendous feedback from my team due to my hard work and inspiring leadership style. Consumers regularly provide positive Trustpilot and Google reviews recognising my ability to create inspiring written content and delicious meal plans.I have a strong work ethic and collaborative mindset, working closely with the product director, team of developers, designers, Member Services and Marketing. My role involves synthesising insights from CSIRO scientists and Mayo Clinic experts to craft compelling evidence-based content to support member retention and acquisition. With close to ten years of experience in content strategy and development, I am passionate about translating complex science into accessible, engaging formats that inspire positive behaviour change.

Started and ran a private dietetic consultancy business both in Sydney, Australia and Cape Town, South Africa. I consulted to private practice and food industry clients. I was a regular contributor to magazines and online publications. Acted as an advisory board member for the development of a paediatric nutrition course for an online nutrition training institution. Worked as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting patients undergoing gastric balloon, lap banding, and sleeve gastrectomy.

As a member within the Food and Nutrition team of the Consumer Lifestyle group, I tracked nutrition science and trends; provided insights into consumer and stakeholder trends, and strategic advice and direction on nutrition initiatives to food and beverage companies. These companies included Kellogg, Unilever, The Cranberry Institute, LoGiCane, the GI Foundation, Coca-Cola South Pacific and Subway.Nutrition Communications & Marketing: I wrote or reviewed all nutrition marketing material, including writing stakeholder communications, website copy, media releases, radio grabs, newsletters, and government policy submissions.Stakeholder Management & Networking: Organized the Coca-Cola South Pacific Advisory Council meetings, setting the agenda, and key focus areas for the advisory members. Frequently met with key stakeholders and attended conferences or networking events to represent clients.Presented & pitched for new business.

My role involved development, marketing, implementation, management and evaluation of workplace healthy lifestyle programs. This included:* Marketing our services across corporate Australia and being awarded contracts withnumerous national companies. My largest being a national contract with Visy Industries which I was awarded following a rigorous tender process. This was one of my most rewarding projects and involved managing 13 ongoing health programs targeted at blue-and-white- collar workers, including managing the staff involved in running the programs. It culminated in me presenting the results at Visy’s national Safety Conference, one of numerous health and safety conferences I presented at.* Running the healthy lifestyle programs including performing detailed employee health assessments and presenting group educational sessions to empower participants to change their lifestyles. Developing nutrition marketing and educational material was also a key to ensuring the program success (including writing employee health notice board information, newsletters and motivational emails).* Developing and running educational programs at schools as part of a government initiative‘Healthy Active Schools’.
