The Changing Roomz It’s taken me a while to post this but here we are.. Over several years, maybe even a decade or two I’ve trained in bodywork, touch therapy, trauma, body memories versus cognitive memories. I’ve trained in nutrition & it’s value or detriment in the body, I’ve studied Sexological bodywork, somatic sexology, somatic experiencing … all amazing learning. More recently I’ve moved to Neurolinguistics - language patterns and the unconscious, studying hypnotherapy & NLP masters. Also counselling & mental health.. I study what fascinates me & like Steve Jobs’ statement about just following the dots in your life & one day you’ll look back & be able to connect them. You can’t follow the dots forwards, only backwards.Anyway, what does this mean? It means that I have developed ways, ideas and abilities to develop programs to address both the mind the body and how memories are stored, how behaviours are created & retained and ways to modify patterns in both mind & body. Why sexuality? Because as it’s part of the oldest nervous system (can I eat it, fight it or f#%#k it) chances are, if the sexual side of life isn’t operating as you wish, chances are troubles are infiltrating other areas too ;) It’s pretty amazing stuff. I believe it’s possible to change the mind without the body & vice versa but I also believe it’s much more powerful to work with both. Why? I frickin love the reaction I see/feel from a person, that in that split second have experienced something they’ve never felt before. Or that reaction when you realise your reaction to something you were scared of 10 minutes ago, now makes you smile…, that reaction? THAT is what drives me. Who is this for? Anybody who has a negative relationship with people, places or things, that have experienced trauma, sexual abuse, anybody who wants to change the way they react to a situation or person. People with anxiety & stress that is affecting how they operate in life. I don’t like the term dysfunction, sexual or otherwise but as it’s commonly used & understood, I’ll include it. Anybody who lacks motivation & procrastinates continuously. Couples with mis matched libido issues. I help people in the areas of health, career, relationship, sexuality. Where am I? I’m just opening up The Changing Roomz in Leederville - or I’m online, zoom is amazing. Website is still evolving & moving forward I’m looking for people to work with me
