This is where I am at peace. My family chooses the "prettiest" purebred calves we own and brings them here in order to give them the individual attention they need to prepare them to compete in the show ring. We are always trying to be better and strive to minimize our carbon footprint by researching and implementing sustainability practices relevant to our areas of agriculture.

The transition into this role happened when the PON Holdings Group purchased Genex and it's sister companies. As the product line grew and the demand grew along with it, this position was created to deal solely with the registration of feed products internationally and gathering the proper data, testing, and documentation to export/import those products.

It is the responsibility of the Herd Care Line Advisor to promote and support animal welfare product sales to the sales staff and to educate the sales staff to help increase sales. This is done by holding seminars, trainings, annual customer meetings, doing ride-alongs, and just generally being available to answer questions about the product line.

Provide short-term and long-term instruction in a variety of subjects including agriculture, science, and mathematics. Ability to adapt is paramount.

I worked with both producers and veterinary clinics to promote the Vet's Plus, Inc. product line consisting mostly of supplements and focusing on probiotics. I oversaw several on farm trials of calf products beginning with the procurement of the farm and setting up the trial, through data collection and analysis.
