Consultant working with USAID to support Supply Chain in various capacitiesFocused on ensuring the continuity of supply chains and reducing risks, I provide essential support to USAID-led health products and technologies initiatives. This involves Procurement, Warehousing, Distribution, Inventory management advisoryI work closely with national government programs, particularly in HIV, TB, and Family Health Programs, as well as HIV service delivery partners at the county level. My role includes technical supportive supervision at the county level to strengthen Health products and technologies management practices. In this position, I oversee the day-to-day activities of the health products and technology division including purchasing and logistics management and tracking. I design, execute and monitor the implementation of strategic plans, policies, and procedures. In this position, I procured and purchased pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, and drugs, maintaining stock, and ensuring its safe storage and handling. I coordinated the pharmaceutical annual procurement and budget planning activities including forecasting and quantification. I wrote standard operating procedures and other policies. I inspected pharmaceutical supplies at user points to identify any adverse drug reactions and poor handling of medicines. I delivered secure and efficient pharmaceutical services to patients, nurses, and consultants on medically assisted therapy. I supervised pharmaceutical stock according to established guidelines and oversaw all procurement functions of the department including planning and budgeting.
