I have been a part of my community for over 40 years. After attending Blue Ridge Community College in Early Childhood Education and receiving her AS in Early Childhood Education. I continue in my education at Brevard College & UNCG to earn a BS Health & Human Sciences (Human Development and Family Studies. I have spent my career enriching the lives of infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their families throughout the county. My experience with children began with her own four children. As the Director of Kid City USA in Pisgah Forest NC. It is my desire is to provide staff, families and children with a comfortable safe place to play and explore who they are while freeing parents to work, study and grow as well. I overseen daily operations while supervise teachers daily. It is my responsibility to establish policies and communicate this information with staff and parents.I plan and provide training and professional development opportunities for staff and assist both staff and families in resolving conflicts between children and communicating with parents. Work with other community agencies and organization to develop educational programs, set educational standards and coordinate implementation of curriculum.
