St. Paul's Center is an emergency and transitional shelter for homeless women and their children. It is a place that empowers mom's and influences their lives so they may provide a safe home for their families. Our support to mothers and their children continues when they leave the shelter through the Bridges Program. Our goal is to help them find housing and to be successful in establishing a safe, secure home - we are building bridges to a brighter future.

I had the honor of directing a program that provided support, information and encouragement to children, teens and adults touched by cancer. The program empowered people devastated by a cancer diagnosis, encouraged them to be effective advocates for themselves and loved ones. HopeClub was a place of inspiration. We provided educational workshops, wellness programs, support groups, and social activities - all with the purpose of providing supportive, healthy connections to people in need.

Worked with staff and volunteers to deliver quality programs and services to persons touched by cancer; actively recruited and trained volunteers who supported cancer patients and loved ones; supported individuals and organizations who raised funds for ACS' Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

Direct the daily operations of a family treatment program, outpatient day program and vocational services; develop, deliver and monitor the organization’s marketing and donor strategies; supervise, develop and motivate 10 staff; collaborate with Albany County Mental Health Department in their oversight of our programs; collaborate with Board of Directors and volunteer Marketing Committee; serve on county and state coalitions.
