Responsible for: new hire packets & drug screening results/tracking, E-Verify of new hires, placing employment ads, fingerprint scanning for timekeeping/payroll purposes, administration/enrollment for insurance benefits (medical/dental, Life Insurance, FSA), administration/enrollment for 401(k), generating a weekly 401(k) deductions report and submitting to the plan provider, employment verification for future/current/past employees, generating a weekly overtime report, Federal & State reporting such as the EEO-1 Report & VETS-100A Report, helping set up the new HRIS software for our department, helping to assist the Safety Director (scheduling safety lunches, making MSDS binders, and any other duties he may need done, which may include going to on-site projects to check overall safety by our employees), tracking vacation slips for employees, cross trained in payroll & processed it while payroll administrator was out on maternity leave, helping employees with any questions they may have in regards to benefits, vacation, general policy, etc…reconciling monthly insurance invoices and fuel invoices, and other general HR duties.

Processed payroll for over 300 employees. Responsible for all new hire applications, responsible for insurance benefits, 401(k), tracking FMLA hours used, in charge of unemployment requests & attending telephone hearings, point of contact for facility maintenance, responsible for traffic for the Telephone Service Reps (occurrences/conformances), issued badges, generated daily hours reports & compiled data into an Excel spreadsheet to show the call centers revenue on a weekly basis, created & maintained paid time off vacation database in Access, order & maintain upkeep of office supplies, in charge of client visits, other misc. administrative duties, & also supervised three assistants who assisted in my department.

Prepared repair orders on boats/pontoons/snowmobiles/ATV’s. Answered multi-lined phone system & provided customer service to customers on status of repairs performed, obtained estimates or approval of authorization to work on their unit. Processed and handled payments. After 9 months as service advisor, was promoted to administrative assistant to the Service Manager. Ordered office supplies and work orders, performed data entry on customer information and storage on units, did online Arctic Cat snowmobile warranty claims, entered all warranty claims and credits into an Excel spreadsheet, maintained warranty/service/pre-delivery bulletins, & performed other general office duties.
