I am a settler living for over 20 years on lək̓ʷəŋən territory. My ancestors immigrated here from the UK, mostly Cornwall and southern England. I am the Director of Learning + Teaching at BCcampus, an organization that exists to make teaching and learning in B.C. higher education more inclusive and accessible. We do this through organizing events, doing projects and research, and providing professional learning opportunities for educators. Increasingly, we are focussed on how our work can advance reconciliation and the TRC Calls to Action. I am also a facilitator and doodler, with over 20 years’ experience in BC post-secondary education. I am a Liberating Structures enthusiast, who prefers having serious fun at work, and tries to bring humour and energy to my leadership and collaborations.
