Assist companies doing business in Mexico streamline their supply chain, shorten lead-times, improve on-time delivery and quality.

Implemented visual management, twice daily stand up meetings, kanban, documented and improved repair and overhaul business, order status process and communication with salesforce. Dramatically reduced product lead-time. Increased inventory turns from 1.0 to 5.0. Designed and directed a seamless plant move that included a more efficient plant layout and that did not allow for a single late product delivery. Project was so successful that a sister Teledyne company in California requested my assistance on a similar project. Served as program manager on various new product introductions. Implemented an excess and obsolete inventory program, an environmental and safety program and oversaw the export and import trade compliance program.

Responsible for $110M of spend across four business sites in Washington, California, Ohio and Lyon, France. Expanded greatly the supply chain presence in Asia. Introduced supplier scorecards, supplier symposiums, reduced supplier lead-times and improved supplier on-time delivery.

Directly responsible for over 300 employees in Operations including the supply chain, manufacturing and operational excellence along with a 30 plus employee business unit in Lyon, France. Led overall site communication and facilities that included 800 plus employees. Developed and implemented manufacturing strategies that transformed the operations from a departmental based organization to the creation of manufacturing cells for specific product families. Changed the overall focus to final assembly and test, outsourcing machining and the fabrication of printed wire circuit boards. Developed and implemented daily walk-throughs that focused on quality, on-time delivery and inventory.
