Program and grant management of MDG related and public health projects.Program Management:• Traveled to Haiti to participate in work plan creation for the Haiti Millennium Village, and advise on public health and educationinterventions to sustainably impact the population of the Port-à-Piment watershed.• Coordinated health and education work for the Haiti MVP, including conducting preliminary situational analyses that informed the design of critical public health and education interventions.• Met with senior Haitian government officials, including the Prime Minister and the Minister of Health, to discuss scaling up work in country, as well as the design and implementation of a government-led national Community Health Worker program.Grant Management:• Managed the largest Earth Institute grant specific to achieving the MDGs in sub-Saharan Africa and globally, and coordinated the deliverables between four major sectors: policy, public health, agriculture and ecology, and infrastructure and energy.• Successfully wrote proposals and created budgets based upon input coordinated from multiple actors.• Managed a portfolio of more than 12 public health grants, and managed donor relations and grant reporting and all deadlines.

Conducted trainings and interviews with Norwegian Refugee Council staff and beneficiaries, and government and NGOs throughout Liberia to promote usage of market assessments to build vocational training programs.

Analyzed and compiled technical assistance requests of Alliance for Malaria Prevention partner countries for LLIN distribution. Conducted research to determine the feasibility of implementing additional interventions such as indoor residual spraying, and distribution of rapid diagnostic tests and necessary drugs.

Analyzed and synthesized survey data from village Health Posts and household responses regarding knowledge of malaria and bed net distribution, coverage and usage into a detailed report to recommend practical policies to the Ethiopian Ministry of Health and donor partners.

Contractor at the Department of Defense Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP), and subsequently the NASA OSBP. Managed the Mentor-Protégé Program at both offices.

Studied the effects of AIDS, TB and poverty on the culture and region.Provided comprehensive care for all children at home under three years of age.
