Conducted scholarly research within the Henry and Alberta Hirshheimer Burke '28 Jane Austen Collection housed in Goucher's Special Collections & Archives. Specifically focused on the important figures of Alberta's lifelong passion for Austenania, including personal correspondence from scholars R. W. Chapman and David Gilson, as well as the founding of the Jane Austen Society of North America. This was a deepening of the research that was conducted during my Spring semester internship.

Became familiar with the provenance of the edition, as well as initial scholarship regarding Alberta and Henry Burke.
