Ndt Technician
Current• NAS 410 certified Level II NDI Technician in multiple testing disciplines to include Florescent Dye Penetrant, Ultrasonic, Eddy Current and Magnetic Particle to examine a variety of parts, components, or materials to detect cracks, hidden subsurface flaws, corrosion, and separation in bonded and honeycomb structures; and determine integrity of welds, hardness of materials, and if defects found, determine whether in or out of preestablished limits• 1200 hours of experience in Radiographic Testing (ready for Level II testing)• Experienced in inspection of Joint Oil Analysis Program (JOAP) samples• Extensive experience on AETC trainer acft (T-38, T-1, T-6)• Lead technician in charge of daily process controls• Vast experience using USAF Technical Orders, Engineering Dispositions and Maintenance Manuals to determine correct testing methods and component limits• Highly skilled with phased array ultrasound technology and its application with wing inspections • Experienced in all NDI methods at field, major and minor phased, and periodic levels• In-depth knowledge of 1T-38C-36 technical order including Chapter 9 Depot Inspections• Ability to locate inspection area on acft given appropriate fuselage stations• Acquired knowledge and skill to set up laser tracking equipment, including hardware, procedures, and software• Qualified to level acft and their respected platforms on x, y, and z axis
