So I am.......:I am an adaptive, flexible and pragmatic professional, with substantial experience working locally, regionally and nationally, in a variety of sectors, including Non-Departmental Public Body, Charity/Not for Profit, Housing, Arts, Education and Community, (International) Manufacturing and Healthcare. I am resilient and proactive, definitely a "morning" person, have lots of drive and a proven track record of delivering strategically and operationally. I enjoy, and look for ways to add value, support continuous improvement, and constructively challenge the status quo. Most of all I am approachable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engender partnership working, influence and negotiate with key stakeholders and engage and motivate others. 3 things I am most proud of in my career: * Working on the pay and benefits project at Home Group to re-establish momentum and credibility, undertake job evaluation, create job families, develop a pay structure to support pay progression and introduce a raft of cost-neutral benefits, which received extensive support from staff. * Contributing to the creation of North Music Trust, building culture and structure, growing into the venue, and supporting through the design, attraction, development and mobilisation of the significant number of staff required to open and run The Sage Gateshead* Contributing to the successful turnaround of Tyne Metropolitan College, developing and enhancing the HR provision, establishing a digital strategy which improved the applicant and employee experience and leading a fantastic team most staff in the College acknowledged as delivering an excellent HR service
