- Strategic support to the York Health and Wellbeing Board including managing agendas, report writing, board development, governance of arrangements, policy and advisory briefings- Supporting the Health and Wellbeing Board to effectively discharge its statutory functions; including refreshing the Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy- Strategic support for a number of sub-boards and steering groups linked to the work of the Health and Wellbeing Board- Relationship building with key health partners, voluntary sector partners, external partners, other boards and members of the public- Stakeholder engagement for the Board- Supporting the Chair and senior officers and partners of the Health and Wellbeing Board

- Strategic, practical and administrative support to elected members in relation to scrutiny reviews- Preparation of detailed reports for public meetings; including formulation of recommendations- Board governance - Supporting the development of the scrutiny function within the local authority- Stakeholder engagement and facilitation- Interpretation and analysis of complex data and information- Managing task and finish groups- Managing follow up actions and monitoring implementation of recommendations- Relationship building

- Servicing public meetings- Agenda management and publication- Minute taking- Advising elected members on constitutional matters

- Administrative support to the Coroner
