As Asst. Director of Human Resources, I am responsible for the effective management and performance of all Human Resources related activities in Head office, and working closely with Hotel Division functional leaders and stakeholders to land people strategies and tactics on functional organization and skills framework; team capability building; performance management; culture & engagement, people development and retention according to the short, mid and long term business development needs.

Responsible for staff compensation & benefit, staff relations, performance appraisal filing and records, assist Area DOHR in other areas of HR to accomplish hotel and department goals and objectives by recruiting, learning & developing, motivating and maintaining a competent team in the hotel.

I am directly to the Area Director of Human Resources, with a dotted-line (functional) reporting relationship to the Regional Director of Learning & Development and will be an integral member of the property executive committee. As a member of the Human Resources organization, I contribute a high level of Learning & Development generalist knowledge and expertise for Shanghai Area Hotels. I accountable for Learning programs planning & excution, Talent Management, Succesion Plan.

- Plan and implement Talent & Learning solutions for company to support achieving business priorities.- Responsible for end-to-end program management for company core learning programs/processes, including program/process update, delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement.- Identify development needs from company, work independently and partner with internal trainers to design, pilot and rollout new Learning solutions.- Assist Hub office to pilot and rollout new global leadership programs.  Ensure new programs are adopted and applied in the work places.   - Certify in company core programs (including training programs, development programs, etc). Deliver the programs to targeted audience as assigned. - Roll out entire L&D delivery process according to facilitator guide in pre, during and post learning stages. - Develop and certify hotel trainers by conducting TTT workshops and assessment when needed.  Offer continuous support to hotel trainers to cascade and implement company training programs. - Maintain accurate and updated Talent & Learning related materials and resources.  - Manage Talent & Learning database and reports as required.  - Setting and managing the operating budget for the L&D- Ensure that all governance process are followed for all programs managed

I report directly to the Hotel Manager and together, create and encourage an environment of “continuous improvement.” I will champion all Quality Improvement Initiatives – communicate, implement and ensure understanding of the importance and value of utilizing quality tools in continuously improving our Key Strategies to Achieve Excellence. I will partner with and support all hotel leaders in meeting and/or exceeding their goals relating to Performance Monitor and Performance Research.
