• Conduct group therapy with violent offenders who have been convicted of a domestic violence offense and have been court-ordered to a 52-week domestic violence rehabilitation program at an outpatient forensic facility• Provide individual therapy to sexual offenders, stalkers, and domestic violence offenders from a psychodynamic theoretical perspective• Complete comprehensive chart review and collect collateral information in order to assess offender’s risk of a future spousal assault through the use of forensic assessment instruments such as the Spousal Assault Risk Assessment (SARA) and the Ontario Domestic Assault Risk Assessment (ODARA)• Prepare progress reports for the San Diego Superior Court regarding the defendant’s risk factors, current level of risk, and progress in treatment• Maintain contact with the victim(s) throughout the offender’s treatment in order to collect collateral information and inform him/her of the offender’s level of risk• Consistently communicate with the Court and offenders’ probation and/or parole officer • Conduct structured intake interviews in order to obtain clinically relevant information pertinent to treatment and for diagnostic clarity• Complete substance abuse screenings using the Michigan Alcohol Screening Test (MAST) and the Drug Abuse Screening Test (DAST) in order to determine necessity of substance abuse treatment • Attend and participate in didactic training, inservices, and seminars presented by other professionals in the community on relevant forensic issues • Extensive education and training pertaining to the concepts of attachment and psychodynamic theories • Participate in group supervision and individual supervision, as well as collaboration and consultation with colleagues

• Conduct psychological testing on adults in inpatient and outpatient settings including: cognitive and intelligence assessments, objective and projective personality assessments, and malingering assessments • Facilitate individual and group therapy in an inpatient locked facility with adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses including: mood disorders, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, substance abuse/dependence disorders, and dual diagnoses• Provide individual and group therapy in Alvarado Parkway Institute’s outpatient programs including the addictive diseases and intensive/partial hospitalization programs• Facilitate individual therapy and administer psychological testing to inpatients in the forensic sub-unit• Prepare testing battery reports for the patient’s psychiatrist and treatment team• Complete self-harm intervention plans collaboratively with patients• Consult with psychiatrists, social workers, mental health workers, nurses, treatment coordinator, and therapists on patient’s treatment plan • Participate in group and individual supervision as well as a mentorship program with the post-doctoral fellows
