Business units included: Global Rolled Products (North American Rolled Products, European Rolled Products, Latin American Flat Rolled Products, China Mill Products), Building & Construction Systems, Forgings and Extrusions and Wheels and Transportation. Participated in strategic projects in upstream mining and refining businesses and overall projects aimed at developing adjacent businesses. Participated as team member of Brazil strategy team in 2011.

Key team member of 3 person Corporate Development team responsible for global mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures of International Paper, a leading global paper and packaging manufacturer. Initial two years in support role, later taking on more senior and independently led projects including negotiations and overall execution. Led divestitures totaling over $3 billion in value.

Responsible for monthly management discussion and analysis for Corporate Secretary, CFO, Investor Relations and Senior Management regarding company equity investments in Latin America. Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual earnings estimates of company equity investments in Chile (total investments $2 billion.) Supported IP and CHH Corporate Development teams for valuation and due diligence on M&A projects including investments in COPEC, Arauco, Marinetti (food packaging), Carter Holt Harvey Packaging Chile, a semi-rigid packaging company.

As Equity Analyst, covered Natural Resources (Mining, Paper, Fishing) and Telcos in Chile. Initiated coverage of Madeco, CMPC, Copec. Team ranked Institutional Investor #1 Chile team both 1996 & 1997.
