Review loan application package for completeness and accuracy.Responsible for gathering credit and other documents from the customer and third parties in support of the loan approval decision. Verifies and validates supporting income, asset, and liability documentation to ensure validity. Reviews and verifies credit reports (FICO, pay history, validate debts, other real estate owned). Collect and track all documentation and information needed to close loans in a timely fashion. Monitor loans to ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations. Review of HUD statements, title binder and homeowner insurance policies. Ensure final terms of loan meet expectations of all parties while turning a profit for company

I was the supervisor for commitment/closing area. My responsibilities included but were not limited to confirming approval of loans with customers and loan officers. Scheduling and coordinating closings with the attorney offices, preparation and review of all closing documents such as HUDs, insurance policies and title binders prior to closing to confirm that all documents are closed with proper documentation. I was trained and have worked in every area of the Loan Operations department while at HomeTrust Bank. I performed detailed post-closing audit review of loan files. Coordinated the sale of mortgage loans with our different investors. Maintained follow-up procedures by reviewing and contacting attorneys for outstanding documents. Conducted personal training as needed. Trained new personnel on the computer system as needed. Performed accounting duties relative to the purchase of loans sold. I was also the Program Manager for HTB’s 1st time homebuyer program and liaison between the mortgage personnel and Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta
