After completing a PhD in genetics, I did a short stint as a postdoctoral researcher, quickly realising that I was more adept at getting results working with people than test tubes! I went on to do a Masters in Genetic Counselling and worked as a Senior Genetic Counsellor within the NHS for eight years. After a brief flirtation with property developing, I retrained to be a corporate coach and joined The Careers Groups as a Careers Consultant in 2008. Since 2016 I have been a Freelance Careers Consultant and Professional Development Trainer and Coach.I am dedicated to supporting professionals in their careers, with fifteen years of interesting and varied experience. I am a pragmatic, supportive and empathetic professional with a proven track record of success, often being asked back to work with clients and individuals.I work with a range of organizations including the British Medical Association (BMA), European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), King's College London, The Institute of Cancer Research, Cancer Research UK, St. George's Hospital, The Institute of Optometry, London Deaneries, Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS), UCL, The Open University and the LSE, on the Trium Executive Coaching Programme.
