About Tracy Calvan

I am a passionate community builder and fundraiser who believes that the non-profit sector has a crucial role to play in making the world a better place. Intellectually curious, mission-driven, aspirational, I seek organizations that ask the question, “How can we do better? How can we solve this problem?” I have 15 years of experience helping nonprofits set and exceed their goals, specializing in higher education and arts and culture. My special sauce is my ability to build strong, professional relationships with prospective donors to engage their philanthropy and their volunteer service. I’ve built close working relationships with leading philanthropists who serve on boards, founded their own nonprofits, and are influencers in their communities. I have expanded the pipeline of prospective donors at every organization where I have served as a development professional, which is often the number one priority for a majority of nonprofits. In addition to building a solid base of support, I’ve implemented programs to sustain philanthropy and engagement, elevating the “stewardship” of philanthropists to continue the cycle of giving.
