I worked with 3 different primary companies in the aerospace, public service, and advertising sectors. I was involved in every step of the projects, from initial research and project scoping, wire-framing and pitching to clients, creating design specs, as well as the actual coding of the projects. Through out my time in the apprenticeship, I worked in a team of 3-5 on some projects, and then others I was the sole developer. I also mentored a student who was going through the Array Bootcamp. We covered survival strategies when working in such a fast pasted environment, I helped troubleshoot code, and found resources for additional learning opportunities.

While working for the Energy Council I wore many hats. I was the first point of contact for clients and potential clients, I did accounts payable and receivable, scheduled energy audits, set up and reviewed paperwork for jobs. I educated clients about the weatherization process while acting as a resource linking clients to other organizations if they had needs that surpassed what the Energy Council was able to provide. I was the lead in crisis situations when LIEAP clients lost heat. I would coordinate with contractors to ensure that clients received heat within a timely manner.
