With over 17 years of experience in human resources management, I am the Vice President of Human Resources at the National Immigration Law Center (NILC), the leading organization dedicated to defending and advancing the rights and opportunities of low-income immigrants and their families in the United States. As the head of the HR department, I lead a team of professionals who support NILC's mission and vision by developing and implementing strategic HR policies, programs, and practices that foster a culture of collaboration, diversity, and innovation. I have expertise in benefits administration, policy development, employee relations, labor law, and mediation, and I have successfully managed multiple projects and initiatives to enhance the well-being and performance of NILC's staff. I am also a member of Chief, a private network for senior women leaders, where I exchange ideas and insights with peers across industries and sectors. My goal is to leverage my education and experience to empower NILC's employees and leaders to achieve their full potential and to contribute to the organization's impact and growth.
