With over 17 years of experience in human resources management, I am the Vice President of Human Resources at the National Immigration Law Center (NILC), the leading organization dedicated to defending and advancing the rights and opportunities of low-income immigrants and their families in the United States. As the head of the HR department, I lead a team of professionals who support NILC's mission and vision by developing and implementing strategic HR policies, programs, and practices that foster a culture of collaboration, diversity, and innovation. I have expertise in benefits administration, policy development, employee relations, labor law, and mediation, and I have successfully managed multiple projects and initiatives to enhance the well-being and performance of NILC's staff. I am also a member of Chief, a private network for senior women leaders, where I exchange ideas and insights with peers across industries and sectors.
