-Undertaking the strategic development and direct operation of the management contracts for 21 Leisure Centres and achieving an operating margin in excess of 14.1% and a salary income ration of less than 47%-Adhering to tight financial controls and clients needs, requirements and specifications when operating the Centres, with the same being recognised as examples of good practice and no defaults being issued-Successfully securing a further tenure of both the Staffordshire Moorlands contract and HASSRA-Leeds over the previous year-Assessing clients’ priorities and objectives and producing tailored bids for the same-Identifying business development opportunities in the Region and producing a working strategy for long term business growth-Assisting in the strategic management of all leisure facilities and contracts within in the Region -Reviewing and maintaining a sound organisational structure of the region-Recruiting, training and developing members of staff, motivating the same into achieving their own potential and in contributing to the success and productiveness of the team -Developing regional pages of the internet and ensuring that training provides staff with the understanding of the mechanics and the principles of the internet and can utilise the same to full potential-Consistently complying to ISO 14001 Environmental Accreditation throughout the Parkwood Leisure Division as well as related policy and procedures and the corporate objective in Energy Management-Carrying out a large number of audits across the Parkwood Leisure Division, including Environmental Management and Health & Safety to name a few-Coordinating best practice across the region and nationally through a range of KPI’s as well as commercial developing the sites through marketing strategies, branding, developing key products and business partnerships-Undertaking the regional coordination of sales and marketing, training and development and environmental managements systems
