As an AP US History Teacher at Winslow Township School District for over 16 years, I challenge my students to critically think, collaborate, and apply course content while integrating 21st century skills into daily assignments. I also pilot the "Flipped Classroom" model of instruction, which reverses the traditional order of lectures and homework, and allows for more interactive and personalized learning experiences. In addition, I am a Professional Rater at The College Board, where I rate the AP US History Test DBQ Responses and ensure the quality and consistency of the scoring standards. I am also a member of the Teacher Advisory Committee at The National Constitution Center, where I help to develop the center's educational resources. I am passionate about history and its relevance to the present and the future, and I seek to inspire my students and colleagues with my enthusiasm and expertise. I am interested in adjunct teaching opportunities in local community colleges and universities, where I can share my knowledge and skills with a wider and more diverse audience.
