Accomplishments include:• Led successful multi-stakeholder campaigns on the role of agricultural technologies in food security and sustainable development, including:• UN ECOSOC (Economic and Social Council) Rio+20 Conference for Sustainable Development • UNFCCC (UN Framework Convention for Climate Change) • Oversaw project with ERM (Environmental Resources Management) and the member companies to develop carbon emission benchmarks across the member companies for herbicides, pesticides and fungicides• Led industry engagement in the Committee on World Food Security resulting in policy recommendations from the body that recognized the role of agricultural technologies in addressing climate change • Co-organized workshop with the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) & BIAC (Business and Industry Advisory Committee), on the role of agriculture in green growth• Brought to fruition innovative partnership with the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) on role of technology in adapting to climate change, announced at the G8 Open Data Conference for Agriculture• Represented industry in IPBES (Intergovernmental Panel for Biodiversity and Ecosystems Services) stakeholder group, to develop joint recommendations for IPBES’ framework for civil society engagement

Select accomplishments included:• Coordinated with HQ and 70 country teams to develop organizational-wide strategy and work plan, including successfully raising $300K from the USG for initiatives in performance measurement and staff development• Served as CARE’s lead on $10 million, 7 country partnership with Cargill including initiatives on employee engagement, child labor and sustainable cocoa and horticulture production in Western Africa, Brazil & India• Developed partnership with Accenture Development Partners, MEDA, Conservation International, CHF International and Practical Action to collectively build institutional expertise in private sector partnerships

Managed a $3.15 million USAID-funded applied research program in Cooperative Development, with a staff of nine in Bosnia, Mongolia, Philippines and Rwanda. Accomplishments include:• Turned-around an IT project in the Philippines in partnership with Accenture and the government to track registrations and financial performance of savings and credit cooperatives, bringing it in on budget• Oversaw analysis and tracking of cooperative legislation and regulations in the four countries, working with local stakeholder to promote government support and coop-friendly policies • Partnered with Michigan State University to research coop contributions to economic competitiveness
