Position involves event management, volunteer management including recruitment and recognition, special projects, grant research and writing, along with matching grant coordination for funding. Create new revenue streams for fundraising. Also serving as interim Treasurer in charge of $45k budget. In that role, I am responsible for budgeting, forecasting, paying bills and handling scholarships to schools and staff. In current role, donations have increased by 40% over 2 years ago and participation is up 30%. Created Community team as a special offshoot of PTA to work within the Nokomis Neighborhood supporting Lake Nokomis Community School. This group coordinates food, coat & boot drives for our students and community. Advocated with Minneapolis School District for new school addition and sought out additional programming for our students.

Role includes fundraising,marketing, identifying new revenue streams, volunteer recruitment, retention and recognition. Work with board on strategic and long-term planning. Includes working with Guardian ad Litem volunteers with training and support as they work with abused and neglected children.

Worked on projects for Geek Squad and other internal departments.

Worked directly with on-site leadership within IS. Also worked in the IS Project Management office assisting team with project management deliverables, templates, event & team coordination, time and billing reconcilliation, on and offboarding of personnel, process creation and execution.
