I am very excited to be Blaser Mills Law’s first dedicated Responsible Business Partner, leading the firm's responsible business initiative.I have always been very interested in societal and environmental issues and now work actively with the firm’s stakeholders to create and implement responsible business programmes for the firm. These range from developing inclusion strategies and setting sustainability goals through to engaging the firm in community projects. I am hugely driven by the challenge to learn, educate and grow in the responsible business space.Prior to joining Blaser Mills in 2017 I spent over twenty years as a lawyer, practicing as a property solicitor and partner at several major firms. During that time my passion was always forging new business relationships and providing outstanding client service and this enabled me to to secure contracts and act as client relationship partner for a number of large organisations. My enthusiasm for creating business opportunities led me to move into a role as a senior member of the Blaser Mills Law Business Development team where I developed and maintained key strategic stakeholder relationships and led on firm-wide projects including client service delivery and the firm’s international offering.I am a strong believer that collaboration is one of the keys to success. To this end, I co-founded the Global Sports Law Group, a group of sports lawyers across 33 countries who meet regularly to discuss international sports matters and business opportunities. I also created Blaser Mills Law's Inclusion Forum and Wellness at Work Group and am a committee member of The City of London’s Lawtech Innovation Ambassadors Sounding Board, an organisation committed to bringing all members of the legal community together with a view to making positive changes across the profession. My long experience of being a solicitor, partner and business development executive in law firms gives me an ability to engage with lawyers on all aspects of Responsible Business whilst having a deep understanding of the pressures and issues that are always present in their working lives. My mission is to continue to make positive changes in the workplace and to spread the word of the positive benefits of being responsible business, particularly in the law industry.
