As a member of the Twitch MarTech team, I collaborate with various teams, including events, careers, legal, marketing, creative, localization, and accessibility to develop engaging websites that reach millions of users worldwide. During my tenure, I have had the privilege of contributing to several high-profile campaigns, including TwitchCon, the Twitch Blog, the Twitch Careers page, the Twitch Collective, the Twitch Sports Accelerator, and Twitch Ads.One of my personal highlights was evaluating and recommending an SSG platform for future development, which led to a significant reduction in build times for Twitch Marketing's largest website from 20 minutes to under 2 minutes. This new system supports thousands of pages in 27 different translated languages. Technologies used in this role include Hugo, Jekyll, Svelte, AlpineJS, Tailwind, Javascript, AWS (S3, Lambda), Ruby, Elixir, and Docker.

As an Educator and Director of Ed Tech at Fukuoka International School from August 2018 to August 2021, I created a guiding vision and technical roadmap for the school that led to the implementation of multiple new initiatives. Among my accomplishments, I successfully managed the expansion of devices on campus, oversaw a complete network overhaul, and increased staff training and social media campaigns. These efforts resulted in a doubling of device numbers throughout the school, a complete network redesign and implementation in summer 2021, and significant improvement in staff use of technology.

As a Manager overseeing the infrastructure and technical support teams at Dulwich College, I successfully managed 9 direct reports across three physical locations, 20+ servers, and thousands of monthly tickets.Using ITIL principles and remote technologies, I implemented a data-driven decision management system that led to a 10x reduction in time to response and resolution, increased infrastructure staff productivity through the use of SCRUM management, and improved customer satisfaction by over 20%. Many of these changes were presented as examples during the Dulwich Technology group-wide meeting and have since become standard across the group, proving vital during Covid lockdown.In addition, I upgraded an outdated and no longer functioning bespoke timetabling software built on a CodeIgniter PHP LAMP stack hosted on Apple PageMaker/XServe to a modern LAMP stack hosted in a virtual machine. This saved the college thousands of dollars in initial development, redevelopment, or repurchase costs, while preserving a platform used by 33% of the student population.

As the Tech Coordinator at Leipzig International School, I led the development of the school's first-ever computer science and technical certificate courses. These efforts resulted in the highest average marks in the school, and one of my students was the highest marked student in Germany. Additionally, many of my technical certificate students have gone on to achieve their certificates and start technical careers.Alongside teaching, I worked closely with secondary staff to integrate technology as part of the curriculum. I collaborated with the administration to design and implement an infrastructure overhaul, which involved transitioning to SAAS/PASS systems, adding virtual learning environments, and implementing MDM management solutions. These efforts significantly improved the school's technical capabilities and streamlined administrative tasks.

Led a technology committee to increase staff buy-in and voice in the increased use of technology. This initiative led to the implementation of system-wide wifi, transition to PASS systems, and, as far as I know, the first 1:1 laptop program in international schools in Japan.Developed and taught the first computer science and technical certificate courses at Leipzig International School, resulting in the highest average marks. One of my students was the highest marked student in Germany. Developed a doctor-patient scheduling software using C# on IIS & MSSQL that automated the approval of time off requests and necessary timetable change notifications.Improved internal call center applications that served millions of clients annually, including finding a solution for accessing data behind a password-protected webpage. To address this issue, I extended a library to create a virtual web browser that could pass and receive data to the web browser object and back to our service.

Developed a .NET/C# application for SJCWorknet to manage their ETPL and WTW applications, successfully migrating millions of records and all stored procedures and scripts from IBM Informix to MSSQL. This resulted in increased efficiency and streamlined processes for the organization.Collaborated with various companies on the development and hosting of minor websites and applications, utilizing multiple languages such as C#, JSP, and Java.Managed contracts and financial matters related to the business, working closely with partners to ensure successful project delivery.Oversaw all aspects of business operations for a team of 3 employees, including procurement, budgeting, and resource allocation.

Led a team of 5 direct reports in the design and development of a call center application for Kaiser Permanente, using .NET, C#, and MSSQL to replace the legacy Lotus Notes and IBM Terminal System. Achieved a 10x improvement in response time with the new system, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and productivity.Managed oversight and allocation of staff and project deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions that met business requirements.Served as the server administrator for all systems, including IIS, Exchange, and MSSQL, located in a secured data center in Santa Clara. Successfully maintained and optimized server performance to ensure system availability and reliability.
