I am an attorney with vast knowledge of compliance laws and regulations, as well as business law. Currently, I develop and implement communication strategies with designated control partners to ensure clarity in roles and responsibilities and transparency in program support. I partner with various lines of business and levels of management in order to ensure regulatory requirements are met, this includes developing and maintaining the annual compliance plan. This requires extensive knowledge in banking regulations and keeping up with regulatory changes that could impact required trainings across all lines of businesses. In previous roles, I assisted in developing compliance programs, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. I consulted with and provided guidance with human resources and other departments regarding team and professional development. Ensured compliance with employment related laws (EEOC, OSHA, HIPAA, FLSA).I have management experience, in which I oversaw four departments, including contracts, licensing and credentialing, audits and investigations and compliance. During this time, I completed Annual Risk Assessments and provided recommendations, developed and tracked corrective actions to address all regulatory risks and develop plans to mitigate when possible. I was certified in healthcare compliance (CHC) and privacy/HIPAA compliance (CHPC).
