(Author unknown) Originally from a small town in California, I sought adventure and purpose in the Army, specializing in logistics as a 92A (Automated Logistical Specialist). As a paratrooper, I jumped from 16 aircraft, including descents from a black hawk helicopter. Airborne School where I met my wonderful husband. Deployments with the 82nd Airborne, including relief efforts during Hurricane Katrina and service in Iraq and Afghanistan, were pivotal experiences that shaped my outlook.Shifting gears from military service, my love for children drove me to attain certification as a 4th-8th grade science educator. Across the span of nine years, I've had the privilege of teaching in varied locales such as Texas, Maryland, and Alabama, cherishing each student and the classroom experience.Now, I'm venturing into the realm of UX/UI design with a mission in mind. I aspire to leverage my skills in UX/UI to support students, teachers, science, nature and any other way I can contribute positively. My aim is to fuse my educational background with design expertise, crafting intuitive and user-friendly educational platforms for global accessibility. I'm thrilled about the prospects ahead as I merge my diverse experiences into impactful contributions.
