Carry out complete Production Planning for Intra-ocular lenses and ensure that Production Orders are loaded to fulfil orders of the Regions and direct customers with no disruption in Direct Material supplies to Production and to ensure an efficient end-to-end supply planning process. To manage all Direct Material Purchasing activities in the company.Direct Material Planning & Purchasing:•Inventory management of direct materials•Review and evaluate safety stock levels, minimum order quantities, suppliers lead time and Q.A IQC lead time on regular basis to identify continuous improvement opportunities.•Monitor actual and forecasted consumption of materials to as certain purchase order quantities and schedule.•Evaluate material requirements, create and issue Purchase Orders to suppliers.•Balance material purchase and consumption such that write-offs are kept to a minimum.•Ensure material purchase and stock levels are with stock targets.•Follow-up with suppliers and delivery schedules to meet production plans.•Issue RTV for defective materials to suppliers and compile relevant data for reporting.•Ensure accuracy of information on Purchase Orders and Order Confirmation from suppliers. Follow-up with closure of Purchase Orders with Finance for payment.•Maintain part numbers and planning parameters in AX.•Support purchase and shipment processProduction Planning & Scheduling:•Plan and prioritizing production loading to optimize orders in accordance with demand and available resources to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.•Prepare production schedule and prioritizes work orders. Generate and release the orders to the production based on production schedule.•Analyze backlog, current and up coming production plan and lead recovery actions in order not to impact on the delivery plan.•Generating Master Production Schedules and Work Orders, forecasting inventory requirements.•Analyze capacity and resource requirements and coordinate adjustments.

Key responsibilities:• Manage inventory replenishment purchase requisition to good receipt into warehouse• Maintain master data and supply planning parameters for data integrity• Command good MRP and ERP supply planning• Review and convert purchase requisition and monitor supply exception. • Identify supply gap and recovery for product supportability in short and long run• Collaborate with demand planners to improve forecast errors and work with the Business team to deliver Customer First’s value• Continuous work with cross functions for operational planning improvement• Actively working towards a regional subject matter expert in the utilisation of planning tools to balance inventory Optimization (Supply) and Serve Excellence (Demand)

Key responsibilities and contributions as a Production Planner:• Inputs data into SAP for Material Planning MRP based on MPS• Ensures all sales orders can be fulfilled by releasing work order to production for service build• Works closely with buyers on material delivery status and ensures minimum material shortage impact to production• Attends daily OPS meeting to communicate with production on urgent requirement and material issues• Performs material back-flash timely to minimize production variance• Coordinates production out and ensure timely completion of work order to meet customer requirement• Supports new product and suppliers by ensuring timely setup of production specs and flows, including machinery are in place.• Liaises with purchasers to ensure on time procurement of materials, components and testing of modules.• Schedules backlogs orders after quality issues are solved and proposes the recovery plan• Ensures ops meet daily on- time delivery targets and manages inventory• Assesses on on-time delivery and develops proactive plans to improve delivery• Prepares contingency plan to ensure no disruption of the committed delivery.• Prepares build plan based on sales forecast analysis.• Creates work order per the loading plan and ensures BOM set ups tie with loading plan • Prepares report and scenarios based on forecast in order to discuss further with Product Manager and Demand Management Team. • Liaises with customers to update them on the CTB file and Materials readiness • Involves in the Ramp-up for new product

Key responsibilities and contributions as a Production Planner:• Analyzes and troubleshoots scheduling issues that would cause production delays.• Organizes and implements production work timelines and goals to ensure customer fulfillment and facility capability.• Ensures goods are manufactured in a cost-effective way and met quality specifications.• Liasises with sales division to determine customer requirements.• Collaborates with purchasing to ensure timely material availability and anticipate delays.• Develops a production schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed by to meet predicted completion date.• Approves materials, machines, manpower needs to manufacture goods.• Checks and monitors inventories.• Troubleshoots problems that happen during production, including manpower shortages and machinery malfunctions.• Ensures manpower, materials and machinery are available when required.
