About Tracy Mazerolle, Cpcu
P&C insurance nerd. I began my insurance career in Auto claim at Travelers and dove into the world of property/casualty claims, auto insurance, managing people, and what it means to provide excellent customer service. In 2022, I had the opportunity to shift to the Claim Operations world, and I loved every minute of it. My role as the Connecticut Claim Center's Claim Ops Unit Manager allowed me to be a professional troubleshooter, scavenger-hunt-completer, coach, cheerleader, mini project manager, SharePoint fixer, spreadsheet enthusiast, genAI hypewoman, and organization queen. I got to lead a wonderful team that supports our core claim lines of business every day! After seven years in Travelers' Claim Field organization and two years supporting Claim as an Operations leader, I was eager to keep supporting Travelers Claim and learning new things - this time through a more strategic, tech-oriented, and product-oriented lens. To that end, I'm thrilled to have joined Travelers' Claim Business Delivery, Analytics, & Technology organization as an Agile Product Owner. This new role allows me to apply my Claim and Operations technical knowledge, project management skills, collaborative spirit, and penchant for troubleshooting to help build exciting new technologies for our Claim Field partners. This role also gives me the opportunity to immerse myself in the world of Agile, learn more about the tech that keeps the company moving, and find ways to incorporate generative AI capabilities into Claim for the benefit of our employees and our customers. Please feel free to connect with me!

Claim Operations Unit Manager
One of the many things I loved about my role as the Claim Operations Unit Manager for the CT Claim Center is that every day was a little different from the last. I had the privilege of hiring and onboarding new employees into the Ops Specialist role, helping them learn the ins-and-outs of Claim Operations and the Claim organization at large, and supporting their growth to the next stages of their careers. The team performs a wide variety of financial, administrative, customer-oriented, and analytical work for the claim lines of business to ensure the CTCC delivers on the Travelers Promise. I loved getting to work with my peers in the lines of business and make their jobs easier whenever I can!In the Claim Operations world, I also got to leverage data, management information, and existing and emerging technologies for the benefit of the Claim organization. Whether I was digging into local claim handling trends, building a user-friendly dashboard for our Auto leaders to understand PTO coverage needs, or training Operations staff across the country to use our new national work platform, I loved getting leaning into the data and analytics (and geek out a little bit in Excel) while building relationships with my colleagues and business partners. And to throw a little more variety into the mix, I also played a part in ensuring our Claim Center adheres to all financial compliance standards in the work our lines of business do. Show less
