I was promoted to the position of Head of Sales Progression Unit as a new venture within the company as we felt Estate Agents secured the buyer but then it was left to the solicitor to deal with the sale and progress this through to completion.The Estate Agency Industry also has a high cancellation ratio and through the involvement of our sales progression unit we have significantly reduced this ratio and keeping more sales together and taking them through to completion quickerMy role is to interact with the seller and buyer keeping them constantly aware of the position of their transaction and asisting the coveyancer/solciitor to aid them thoughout the process. Historically solicitors contact their clients via letter whereby I can speed up the transaction via telephone/email and direct contact.
