The Talent Demand team facilitates connections and opportunities between LCDA members and board influencers. They also keep track of talent intelligence, which is utilized for research reports and any boards looking for Latino talent. Lastly, they create letter campaigns that raise awareness and visibility of Latino representations across different states.TM has centered her career on amplifying representation and leadership. Before joining the LCDA mission, she worked as a Search Associate at Koya Partners, a Diversified Search Group company. She worked with senior leaders to identify and recruit top talent in the nonprofit space and was the lead for the Hispanic/Latino Affinity Group. TM was first exposed to executive search at Russell Reynolds, where she worked on market research in the MedTech sector, supported the Assessment, Culture, and Development practice, and co-wrote thought leadership on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging. Her commitment to DEIB led to her co-leading the Hispanic/Latino Inclusion Network and partnering on the inaugural Hispanic+ Corporate Directors Conference.León has always aimed to elevate exceptional leaders. Before the executive search, she was in the Virtual Student Federal Service (VSFS) under the U.S. Department of State. While with VSFS, she profiled officials from underrepresented backgrounds to reach a wider recruitment pool. Earlier in her career, she supported the talent of the Latin Grammy-winning, multicultural, all-female band Flor De Toloache.Outside of work, she enjoys keeping up with her favorite podcasts and periodically escaping from New York City.
