My official title is Business Systems Analyst. This position encompasses several different platforms that are supported by the Corporate Systems Team at BTS. I am currently a member of the small but growing team. The team’s main focus is on GRC (Governance, Risk, & Compliance) utilizing the RSA Archer platform. However, I also support Bridger Insight XG Lexis Nexis, Check Image Viewer, SAS, Tidal Enterprise Scheduler as well as supporting our team’s internal and business partner facing SharePoint site. Anything that we can assist the other companies within WR Berkley with, we will. The main focus currently is on Archer and creating solutions from scratch and updating the existing core or ODA (on-demand applications). Assisting the team with maintaining an Agile approach to new development work by prioritizing tickets, planning releases and sprints, maintaining open lines of communication with business partners to schedule meetings and gather requirements as well as updating the backlog. I also utilize Jira as well as Service Now to handle production incidents and our work queue to ensure requests and issues are well documented and handled in a timely manner. Recently I have been the main production support analyst for Tidal. Tidal is a multi-function tool that helps automate tasks. It’s main job is to transfer files from a company server into Bridger (an AML OFAC program) so that various entities can be scanned against watch lists. Tidal is vital to the process as an insurance company it is important not to pay anyone associated with a terrorist organization or other less than savory characters. I ensure that these jobs run smoothly and if not then taking quick action to analyze the issue, take appropriate steps, and ensuring the files make it to Bridger in a timely manner.

Archer support for a growing team that builds solutions for the enterprise. Assist with compliance reporting, including reports that are seen by executive leadership. Coordinating presentations as well as communications when necessary. Monitoring team mailboxes and answering requests and handling any associated tasks. Documenting processes and procedures for both the reporting team as well as the Archer technology team. SharePoint site administrator for several team site collections. Subject matter expert for SharePoint and heavy contributor to business social community which includes answering questions and sharing tips.

SharePoint web configurations analyst working with a large client base. Part of a growing team that manages several site collections with multiple sub-sites, libraries, and pages. Working with customer's needs day to day ranging from simple to complex. Designing and building team pages, paying attention to details, creating and editing custom lists, work flows, creation of job aids describing core SharePoint concepts, assisting with document migrations, and meeting with individuals and teams to introduce and train them on SharePoint.
